If you are a first-time toll violator, and you are not currently a FasTrak customer, you can have your penalty dismissed (applicable to first violation only) by opening a new FasTrak account within 30 days from the date of the violation. Please follow the instructions below.
The most convenient way to open an account is online using a credit card:
- Complete the online enrollment process by clicking Sign Up.
- The vehicle information you enter must match the vehicle information on your violation notice.
- For the Effective Date, you must enter the date the violation occurred (not the violation notice date).
- After you have completed the enrollment process, please allow 1 week for the toll to post to your account and for the violation to close.
To open an account by check:
- Download a FasTrak application form.
- Complete and sign the FasTrak application form.
- Mail the following to the FasTrak Customer Service Center:
- Completed and signed FasTrak application form.
- Appropriate amount required to open a new FasTrak account (e.g., if opening an account by check, the
appropriate amount required would be $70 for one toll tag ($50 for prepaid tolls + $20 for toll tag deposit)).
- Notice of Toll Evasion payment stub.
- Separate payment for the toll amount only.
