You can make a One-Time payment online using your credit card before or within 48 hours of your toll crossing. Open a FasTrak account to conveniently pay tolls and save time! And, FasTrak users receive discounted tolls on the Golden Gate Bridge! An Invoice will be mailed to the vehicles's registered owner for the toll amount within a few days of your toll crossing. License Plate Accounts are specialized just for Golden Gate Bridge. No toll tags are needed for this account type, an image of your vehicle's license plate is matched to your account. Your tolls are automatically charged to the credit card on file or deducted from your pre-paid account balance.

Getting to the Golden Gate Bridge

From San Francisco

Take Pacific Coast Highway Route 1 or US Highway 101 north across the Golden Gate Bridge. Toll is collected in the southbound direction only.

From Marin County

Take US Highway 101 south across the Golden Gate Bridge. Toll is collected in the southbound direction only.

From the East Bay

Take US Highway 580 west to US Highway 101 south across the Golden Gate Bridge. Toll is collected in the southbound direction only.
